Antique ring in 14ct yellow gold and platinum, set with a central oval faceted unheated natural sapphire in a pretty harebell blue and flanked by a matched pair of round cabochon moonstones. We estimate the sapphire to weigh approximately 1.5ct (7.5 x 5.7 mm) and the moonstones almost 1ct each stone (6mm rounds). The stones are rubover set with a thin veneer of platinum to minimise visibility of the mount. This is a very beautiful and unusual ring , finger size Q.
