Bi-colour 'Wattle' sapphire & diamond cluster ring in 18ct white gold
Sold
Beautiful bi-colour oval cut sapphire from New South Wales, Australia, weighing 2.22ct set with a 0.60ct of white diamonds in 18ct white gold ring. The sapphire is what is referred to as a ‘Wattle’ sapphire, named for the yellow flowers and glaucous green leaves of the Australian wattle tree. The stone is actually bi-coloured yellow and blue, the combination of these two colours giving it a lively green flash of colour when the ring is being worn.
